*childrensillustrator's March theme is "Cherry Blossom"

For about three months, or what ever it was I voted "Cherry Blossom" like possessed, and when it finaly wins I don't have time to draw it -__-', but I made it just in time for the *childrensillustrator's deadline

I didn't realy have a great idea when I was voting for this subject, all I knew was that I wanted to make something fairylike comming out of the flowers and a bit asian like cherry blossom tree, and with my interess for Japan I wanted to make something realy inspired by that. So for a time I was planing small cute children in kimonos comming out of the flowers. But it did'n turn out that way...
Around this time last year I was playing with the idea of Bunnyflies, so I tryed drawing them in a medow and so, but I never managed to it right so I sorta gave up on them. But after playing with the idea of kimono children, I rememeded the bunnyflies again and was finaly able to draw them right. I imagined the Disney movie "Fantasia" with the nutcracker part, with the dansing fairys.
I was originaly planing to have the bunnyflies with insect wings/butterfly wings. But I thought the cherry blossom pedals were so cute so I drew the wings as cherry blossom pedals. I was planing on having bunnies fall down like the cherry blossom pedals does, but I forgot that ):
So in the end didn't look as Japanese as I wanted...
