To day is 17th of may and the national day of Norway. The day when children waves with norwegian flags and can eat all the ice cream that they want.
Many have bunats, the national costume of Norway (a version for younger male's bunad is showed above) These costumes are still handcrafted with woll and silverwear and costes upto 30.000 NKR. (3802 EUR, 5940 USD, etc.) Many heritage they're bunads, others might get it for they're confimation. I have a beautiful blue dress that I bought last week when the sun was shining and the temperature was summer like. Today it's a mixter between rain and snow and the temperature is somewere around 3˚C here in Oslo, so yeah its kinda cold
